About

Hi! My name is Joe Ingeno and I’m passionate about working on software to help people and companies maximize opportunities and solve problems. I currently work for a software company in Florida.

During my career I’ve played the roles of programmer, developer, analyst, consultant, team lead, and software architect. I’ve had the good fortune to work on all aspects of the software development life cycle and in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, health care, utilities, entertainment, manufacturing, timeshare, print/media, and education.

I graduated from the University of Miami with Master of Science and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Computer Information Systems, and then followed that later with a Master of Software Engineering degree from Brandeis University.

I currently hold several certifications, including the MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) from Microsoft, and the Professional Software Engineering Master Certification from the IEEE Computer Society. I am a professional member of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) as well as the IEEE Computer Society.

Lately I have been mostly focused on Microsoft technologies, and I love working on web, mobile, and Windows desktop applications. As a result, this blog mostly focuses on that, although I am excited about many aspects of software development and a variety of technologies, languages, tools, and frameworks.
